GOALS!!!!!!!!!!!

Chad here puttin down some of my goals that I want to achieve for this upcoming year that is almost upon us already. It has gone so fast as there has been a lot of change to this year all for the better, the BEST thing being my BEAUTY Amber and having her in life and at my side, I absolutely love it !!!!!!
As Amber and I work together to motivate and push each other to reach our goals and vision we have for ourselves, I need to write down those goals so that I will be held to them as hard and as long as some of them might take. Some goals will be long-term and other short-term, but all are goals that in due time I want to reach and hope for, wish me LUCK.

!. It has always been my goal to be able to bench 300 lbs, I have gotten closer and closer this past year but have yet to quite get there. I want to smash a pop can between my pec's, ha ha ha.
2. I want a chiselled pack, I have been able to get the 6 pack but not to where I would like to see it, I want to be able to wash clothes on them if I ever needed too, LOL.
3. I want to weigh over 200 ibs and have around 8 % body fat to go along with it.
4. I want to run the mile and a half in under 10 minutes, I can run at the pace right now, but with gaining muscle and reaching that weight, I want to be able to maintain that level of cardio.
5. Eat right everyday, no more snacks, pop, or junk food stuff, consume good calories that will help me reach my goal.
6. Take vitamins and other supplements everyday, including creatine, before and after workout supplements, and others to others in between.
7. Work harder to get a full amount of daily protein in so that I will gain weight and muscle mass.
8. AND most importantly get to the gym at least 5 times a week.

Hopefully with these goals and things in mind and sight I will be able to stay focused and motivated to reach my goals, with the help of my Angel, family and friends I will acheive much more and I know that I can, its just a matter of when.
My goals will be added to and likely to change at a moments notice, so stay tuned and alert, lol. Thanks for all the support and help to make it all happen. Here goes nothin...........

The six meal a day diet;

Hello Helleeew.
Ok well today I spent some time looking at some good diets for me. I learned some new and helpful information for myself that I took into consideration:

1: To KEEP/ SUSTAIN your muscle mass you must consume .025/.050 grams of protein per pound of body weight you have.

2: To GAIN MUSCLE/ LOOSE WEIGHT you must consume .070/1.00 grams of protein per pound of body weight you have.

So, I am going to do the six meal a day diet plan which will allot me to consume 100-200 calories per meal. (These are small meals) However, these small meals are ideal to boosting my metabolism, and keeping me satisfied hunger-wise, so I don't feel like snacking!

Chad & I went to Walfart (walmart) Tonight and I bought some of the following: Tilapia fish (VERY HIGH IN PROTEIN) Salmon (High in protein) Tuna (High in protein) Halibut (High in protein) Non-fat cottage cheese (High in protein) Apples (High in vitamins) LIGHT yogurt (Good all around) All of these are low in calories, which is a huge plus for me, because I need to consume low calories to get to the goals I have in mind.

**p.s, we went to the gym today and I didn't do cardio because I was sick and puking my guts out the day before, so we didn't wanna run and shake the tummy more than needed, so we worked our lil fannies off doing our backs. OOOUUCH, I can feel it already! PAIN IS BEAUTY, PAIN IS BEAUTY!! :)**

Here goes nothing. Chad style

This is my first post ever ever and i hope this works out so that i can continue to add more and more everyday.
I am hoping that with the start of the new year and the support of my wonderful girlfriend Amber and family, I can set goals that i will be able to achieve and make myself a better and more in shape individual then i am now.
I love going to the gym, but more then going to the gym is getting results and making things there happen in a postitive way for myself. Hopefully with my goals i will be able to obtain those results in which i am shooting for.
For those who read this, i ask for advice and other comments that may help in achieving goals that are geared towards fitness and making it a bigger part of our lives.

Hey guys, its mee- Amber! I was just stopping by to say, we worked out today ( Me & Chad) We didn't do all that we wanted to, due to going kinda late (2:20 ish) and the MAJOR snow storm... so we had to leave at like 3:oo ish so that we could get our butts from Riverton to Lehi so I could get to work by 5:40... so yeah. Oh, and P.S- We made these amazing charts, (dry erase calendars from walmart & a plain pink one for me and a green one for Chad) so that we could plan and track our progress!

Hey guys, its Amber. This is my first post, and I am new to this whole blogging thing so sorry if this is so retarded :D Anyway;
2 BEGINNING GOALS TO GET STARTED:
  • Simple goal #1: Go to the gym EVERYDAY!!!! I know that probably sounds like a simple first goal, but I haven't ever been too faithful with the gym and for me this takes a lot of commitment and dedication, so there you have it.

  • Simple goal #2: Eat a healthy balanced diet! I am going to write out a plan of exact amount of calories I want to consume per day (around 700-900) and exactly which foods I am going to eat, and the biggest part of this goal is sticking to it! It will be so beneficial for me to actually commit to eating right, especially for my diabetes.
